Walk Around page

Use the Walk Around page to indicate any damage to the vehicle.

The entire walk-around should be completed looking for both liability limitation (mark an existing dent and if the customer questions that the dent was not there before, the advisor can show the walk-around) and for upsell opportunities (the wiper blades are worn, State inspection needs renewing, etc.)

 

Select the type of vehicle by clicking on it. The general damage page appears:

  1. It is good practice to start by clicking "All OK". All sections of the vehicle will be set to green
  2. Click "Front", "LF", "RF" etc. to move to each section of the vehicle for the walk-around. A list of associated items (as set by the dealership) appears on the right.
  3. Beside a line item:
    • Click to indicate it is OK. The label will be filled in green and the associated part of the vehicle will also be set to green.

      or
    • Click to indicate damage. The label will be filled in red and the associated part of the vehicle will also be set to red.

  1. To mark all items in the section's list, click or at the top. Click to start the section over.
  2. As you work around the vehicle, check Comments to add comments about the section.
  3. Click the line item's label to specify inspection information in more detail (whether damaged or not). For example, clicking Body Damage shows the following list of items (tailored by each dealership) to add more detail to the report:

  1. Click an item to select it. It will become red if a damaged item, or green if not. The whole vehicle section will appear red if there are one or more red checks.
  2. To return to the main page for the section, click on the up arrow.
  3. To move to the detailed list for the previous or next sections, click a blue arrow.

 

In the appropriate sections, specify the tire wear by clicking on the Tires label. The following will appear :

Enter the information for the tire, and continue to the other sections of the vehicle.

If necessary, go to the Tires tab, under Services, to add new tire(s) to the write-up.

 

Click to open the Advisor Cam app to add photos and videos of the vehicle plus mark up the vehicle silhouette.

Once photos and videos are attached to the write-up, they can be reviewed by clicking .

When the Walk-Around inspection is completed, continue with the Assign R.O step.
